City of Industry was founded by Sarah Anderson on July 30, 2013. Her dad was her first customer.
Sarah named the shop after Utah state's motto, Industry, as a nod to her home. It's also a tribute to the community of busy and creative folks who wear her hobby-inspired pins and patches as badges of honor. Yes, there's a place in California with the same name. No, there's no relation.
See the City of Industry line, as well as a collection of hand-picked products at the brick-and-mortar shop in Salt Lake City. We're located at 280 E 900 South, and are open Tuesday - Sunday. (Edit: The physical store is re-opening in this new location in Fall 2023.)
